Terms of sale

• Shipping of the pickling bath is not included. It can be ordered by vehicle with ADR
• Containers must be returned within 7 days of delivery. Otherwise the rental will be charged 100 CZK/day.
• The transport of the empty container back is not included in the price and can be ordered from our company at a price of 12 CZK/km (calculated there and back).
• In case of damage to the container, a one-off fee of CZK 10,000 will be charged. The container remains with the customer. 

Conditions for handling the product

This product is classified according to EC Regulation 1272/2008 (CLP Regulation) in the hazard category Acute Toxicity 2. According to § 44 of Act No. 258/2000 Coll. it is obligatory to have a qualified person to handle these preparations. These preparations may only be sold to natural persons who are in business or to legal persons. For more information, see the Training section 

Scope of application

Removal of weld scale and tack paint, old damaged passive layer, abrasions and carbon steel scale, foreign oxides, handling marks and damage after heat or mechanical treatment of surfaces and welds in one working operation by immersion in a bath. Ensures a metallic clean surface appearance.

Application

Read safety instructions before use. Prepare pickling bath in a suitable container (e.g. polyethylene, polypropylene, Teflon). Antox 80 E sold in an IBC container is a 1:1 concentrate mixed with water. Immerse the pickled products in the bath. The exposure time should be determined by experiment. It depends on the amount of scale and the degree of treatment of the bath. This is followed by rinsing with water either at 12 MPa or by soaking in a water bath. Rinse until the stained surface and the water run-off are pH neutral.

Disposal

Rinse water effluents are acidic and contain heavy metals, so they must be captured. The captured rinse water must be disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner. Either by means of your own wastewater treatment plant (to be discussed with the water authority) or by handing it over to a professional company for disposal.

Notice

Antox 80 E contains nitric and hydrofluoric acid. Instructions to be followed are given on the label. Further information is given in the safety data sheet and can be obtained from us. The worker must be equipped with an acid exhalation filter mask, protective clothing and gloves.

Capacity

Depends on time of exposure, type and amount of dirt, chemical composition of the material to be pickled.

Packaging

Antox 80 E is supplied in packs of 1000 kg.

FIRST AID INSTRUCTIONS:

General instructions: Immediately remove clothing contaminated with the product. Do not remove the respirator mask until contaminated clothing is removed.
If inhaled: Transport the person to a place with fresh air. If the person is unconscious, place them into the recovery position, seek medical help.
In the event of skin contact: Immediately wash the affected area with water and soap and rinse thoroughly. Immediately apply Calcium Gluconate 400 solution or gel.
In the event of eye contact: Rinse out the eye with the eyelid open for several minutes using running water, seek medical help.
If swallowed: Do not induce vomiting, call in a doctor immediately. Drink plenty of water and get fresh air. Call in a doctor immediately.
