Why is the neutralization station important?
22. 1. 2024
In the field of surface treatments of stainless steel, it is crucial for us not only to achieve high quality but also to minimize the negative impact on the environment. In this regard, we utilize our own neutralization station, which is used to neutralize rinse water after pickling and passivation of stainless steel.
Why is the neutralization station important? ♻️
Pickling stainless steel can generate wastewater with acidic pH and heavy metal content, requiring effective treatment of polluted water before being discharged into the environment. For neutralization, we also employ the most gentle methods, using readily available natural materials such as lime.
Natural lime is safe, environmentally friendly, and effective in neutralizing acidic substances. When properly dosed, it can stabilize the pH of rinse water, a key aspect of the neutralization process itself. Lime is produced from naturally available limestone, and the production process of this raw material is inherently simple and environmentally friendly. The use of lime helps minimize the ecological impact of the entire neutralization process.
We are ready to support industrial processes that combine quality with environmental consideration.
