Reasons for pickling and passivating alloyed stainless steels are detailed in the article “Pickling and passivating – final surface treatment of alloyed stainless steels.”
PICKLING AND PASSIVATION AT BRNO PICKLING PLANT
Pickling can be done by submerging parts in pickling solutions or by spraying just as the subsequent passivation. The company also performs degreasing and conditioning of the surface for dipping in a pickling bath.
We have the following tanks for dip pickling:
|length (mm)||depth (mm)||width (mm)||No.|
|10 000||2 500||1 900||1 tank|
|10 000||1 800||1 500||1 tank|
|10 000||1 000||1 000||2 tanks|
We have more tanks available of lower capacity.
Spraying is a method for pickling parts whose large dimensions, inconvenient shape, design or material combination do not permit bath pickling. Maximum dimensions of gates are 4000 mm in width and 3800 mm in height.
Handling the parts to be pickled is done using two bridge cranes with a capacity of 5000 kg. Loading is done with a bridge crane with a capacity of 35,000 kg and a forklift truck with a capacity of 3,500 kg.
Packing can be done in many different ways according to the client’s needs.
PICKLING AND PASSIVATION AT ERECTION SITES AND AT THE CLIENT’S PLACE
This method is used for pickling and passivating parts that cannot be transported to a pickling plant due to their dimensions, weight, design or fixed position. We perform the work in a mobile pickling station. Our services include collecting and environmentally-friendly disposal of the waste water. We have all permits, approvals, authorizations and certificates required for our activities.
There are no size or weight limitations for this work.
