Antox 80 E

Field of use

Removal of welding flakes and built-up paints, old damaged passive layers, abrasion and built-up carbon steel, extraneous oxides and traces of handling and damages after thermal or mechanical processing of surfaces and welds in one working operation in the bath. It will unify the appearance of the surface.

Application

Read the safety instructions before use. Preparation for staining: use a suitable vessel (for example of polyethylene, polypropylene, Teflon). Dilute Antox 80 E in the rate 1 : 1 with water and homogenise thoroughly. Immerse stained products to the bath. The time of processing should be set by trial. It depends on the quantity of flakes and the degree of bath processing. Rinse with water with pressure of 12 MPa or wash in water bath. Rinse until the stained surface and off-flowing water is pH neutral.

Waste water liquidation

Rinsing waste water is acid and it contains heavy metals and that is why it must be trapped. Trapped rinsing water must be liquidated in an environment – friendly way. It is possible to use proper waste water treatment plant (it must be discussed with the water management subject) or passed for liquidation to a specialised company.

Warning

Antox 80E contains nitric acid and hydrofluoric acid. The instructions that must be followed are stated on the label. For further information see the list of safety data that can be obtained from us. The employee must be equipped with mask with a filter against acid emissions, protective suit and gloves.

Spreading rate

It depends on the time of treatment, type and quantity of impurities, chemical composition of stained material. .

Package

Antox 80 E is supplied in the following packages: 20, 30, 200 and 1000 kg.

FIRST AID INSTRUCTIONS:

General instructions: Immediately remove all and any personal belongings polluted with the product. Remove the breathing mask only after removal of polluted personal belongings.
In case of inhalation: Transport the affected person to fresh air. In case of unconsciousness, place the affected person to stabilised position and arrange medical assistance.
In case of skin contact: Immediately wash with water and soap and rinse thoroughly. Immediately spread with solution or gel of Ca-gluconate 400.
In case of eyes contact: Keep the lid open and rinse the eye with running water for several minutes. Provide medical assistance.
In case of swallowing: Do not induce vomiting, immediately call a doctor. Drink large volume of water and arrange fresh air intake. Call doctor immediately.

R 26/27/28 Highly toxic in case of inhalation, contact with skin and in case of swallowing.
R 35 Causes serious burns.
S 1/2 Keep locked and out of reach of children.
S 7/9 Keep the package tightly closed, in a well-ventilated place.
S 23 Do not breath gases in.
S 26 In case of eye contact immediately rinse with water thoroughly and call for medical assistance.
S 36/37 Use suitable protective suit and protective gloves.
S 45 In case of an injury or if you do not feel well, immediately search for medical assistance (if possible, present this label).
